Paul Di Lella is an accomplished trial attorney and a recently retired prosecutor from the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office in New Jersey. In a law enforcement career spanning 20 years, he served in multiple roles including as a Senior Assistant Prosecutor in the Trial Unit and the White Collar Crime Unit and as the Supervisor of the Public Integrity and Organized Crime Unit. Prior to his retirement, he was appointed the Director of the Passaic County Narcotics, Gangs and Violent Crimes Task Force where he was responsible for all aspects of criminal prosecutions on behalf of the state. He has tried over 100 cases to jury verdict, including homicides, sexual assaults, kidnappings, and major narcotics cases. Also, he is certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Criminal Trial Attorney after passing the rigorous examination process.
He now brings his experience and expertise to the defense of those charged with felonies and misdemeanors in California. Paul is a fierce advocate for his clients and always demonstrates an unwavering commitment to their defense. As a former prosecutor, he has a unique understanding of the criminal justice system that he uses for the benefit of his clients.
Paul graduated with honors from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He earned his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, N.J. Paul is admitted to practice law in California and New Jersey. He is also admitted to practice in the Northern and Eastern Districts of the Federal Courts of California and the Federal District Court of New Jersey.
